IN FLAMES Set Release Date For New CD, Experience "Star Wars" Magic

Sweden's IN FLAMES have set September 3rd as the tentative release date for their as-yet-untitled new album, which was recently completed at Dug-Out Studio in Uppsala, Sweden with producer Daniel Bergstrand (i.e. MESHUGGAH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, STUCK MOJO).

In other news, IN FLAMES got to experience the surreal on their recent North American tour with ICED EARTH when, prior to their San Francisco gig, Neil Lim Sang and Andrew Grant (great friends and fans of all things metal who both just happen to work for Industrial Light and Magic [ILM], the Star Wars special effects crew),took the band across the bay to visit George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch. Apparently, they even got to make part of the trip in the Black Ford LTD that was used by Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith in Men In Black. To see pictures of IN FLAMES at Skywalker Ranch, click here.
